Okay, the Georgia Viaduct is now open for traffic, and Olympic lanes and parking restrictions have been lifted. The Dunsmuir Viaduct is still closed to traffic, as crews are busy adding a “bike only” lane. The viaduct should be open to traffic by Thursday mornings commute, with of course one less lane. We’ll see what kind of impact that has on the morning rush. Should be interesting…
As we slowly start to see roads re-open around town, we’re not quite out of the woods yet. The Paralympic games Opening Ceremonies will require some closures. March 12th we’ll see the Cambie Street Bridge close again, along with both the Georgia and Dunsmuir Viaducts.
