Okay. I love going to the movies just like everyone else. And this weekend, I went with a friend to see Inception — the new flick directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
Turns out, many of you also headed to the theatre to check it out as it raked in more than $60 million this weekend.
And, I have to say…meh. I wasn’t really into it. I thought the action and special effects were GREAT. But the plot is so “out there” and super confusing in some spots — you really have to pay attention to what’s going on as it totally makes you think. Plus, I thought it was about 30 minutes too long. And if there’s one thing I can’t stand about movies, it’s movies that are too long.
Thor and Riaz absolutely LOVED it (Thor gave it 5 Hammers). But I’d have to give it a 3.5 out of 5. Not a terrible movie. But definitely not one of my favourites of the year.
